Did you that the current national anthem lyrics is not the original content written by Philip Gbeho.Philip Gheho originally composed his version which was adopted after Ghana gained independence in 1957. The current lyrics was written by a student, Michael Kwame Gbordzoe within the framework of a national competition in 1970 after the coup in 1966 and has been in use since then.
Ghana changed to driving on the right-hand side on 4 August 1974 under the governance of Colonel
Ignatius Kutu Acheampong, Chairman of the National Redemption Council.
